TOP PART
Cast on 19 stitches
Rows 1-3: Garter stitch (purl the last stitch)
Row 4: knit 3, place a marker, purl 6, place a marker, knit 1, place a marker, knit 6, place a marker, knit 2, purl 1
Row 5: knit all the stitches (purl the last stitch)
Row 6: knit 3, purl 6, knit 1, purl 6, knit 2, purl 1
Row 7: knit 3, make a cable (3 stitches to the cable needle, leave the cable needle on the back), knit the 3 last stitches of the cable, knit the 3 stitches of the cable needle, knit 1, make a cable (3 stitches to the cable needle, leave the cable needle on the front), knit the 3 last stitches of the cable, knit the 3 stitches of the cable needle, knit 2, purl 1
Rows 8-12: Repeat rows 5 and 6
Row 13: Repeat row 7
Continue making the same to have 34 cm
Make an egde of 3 rows of garter stitch. On the second row, make 3 button holes
Bind off

BOTTOM PART

Cast on 31 stitches
Row 1: Knit 1, purl 14, place a marker, purl 1, place a marker, purl 15
Row 2: knit front back, knit to the marker, yarn over, knit 1, yarn over, knit to the last stitch, knit front back (35 stitches)
Row 3: Purl all the sttiches (purl the yarn over from the back to the front to avoid holes)
Row 4: knit front back, knit to the marker, yarn over, knit 3, yarn over, knit to the last stitch, knit front back (39 stitches)
Row 5: Purl all the sttiches (purl the yarn over from the back to the front to avoid holes)
Row 6: knit front back, knit to the marker, yarn over, knit 1, yarn over, knit 3, yarn over, knit 1, yarn over, knit to the last stitch, knit front back (45 stitches)
Rows 7-9: Stockinette stitch (purl the yarn over from the back to the front to avoid holes)
Start the decreases
Row 10: knit 18, knit 6, knit 2 together. Turn
Row 11: take the egde stitch, purl 5, purl 2 together. Turn
Row 12: take the egde stitch, knit 5, knit 2 together. Turn
Rows 13-29: Repeat rows 11 and 12
Row 29: Continue with purl stithces to the end
Rows 30-36: Stockinette stitch (25 stitches)
Bind off
Sew the back and the botton part of the slippers

Sew the bottom part and the top part together. Starting from the side. Remember to sew the top part with the buttons holes on the opposite side one from the other.  Sew the buttons
