Cast on 3 stitches
Rows 1 a 3: 3 knit stitches
Row 4: Pick up 3 stitches of the left side, and 3 stitches of the bottom part (see the video for more information). 9 stitches on the needle
Row5: 9 knit stitches
Row 6: 3 knit stitch, place marker. Make 1, 1 knit stitch, make 1, 1 knit stitch, make 1, 1 knit stitch, make 1, place marker. 3 knit stitch. (13 stitches total)
Row 7: 3 knit stitch, change marker, yarn over, 3 knit stitch, yarn over, 1 knit stitch (use a marker  for reference. Central stitch) , yarn over, 3 knit stitch, yarn over , change marker, 3 knit stitch
Row 8: 3 knit stitch, purl all stitches to the last marker, 3 knit stitch
Row 9: 3 knit stitch, change marker , yarn over, knit to the central stitch, yarn over, knit the central stitch, yarn over, knit to the next marker, yarn over, change the marker, 3 knit stitch
Row 10: 3 knit stitch, purl all stitches to the last marker, 3 knit stitch
Repeat rows 9 and 10 to have the size needed. Every 12 rows, make the row in the wrong side with knit stitches instead of purl stitches to make the decoration

Finish with 6 rows with knit stitch to make the edge
